On July 25, 2024, The Foundation of Inspiration for Indoensia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in collaboration with Insight Investments Management, partnered with the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK) of Carenang District to provide training on “Financial Literacy: How to Manage Finances Effectively and Correctly.” The event was held at the Carenang District Office Auditorium in Desa Panenjoan, Carenang District, Serang Regency, Banten.

The event took place from 08:30 AM to 12:00 PM and was attended by 57 PKK cadres from each village within Carenang District.

Present at the event were Mr. Drs. Arif Roikhan, M.Si, the Camat of Carenang, and Mrs. Alvinna Amir, S.H., the Chairwoman of TP-PKK Carenang District, along with the board of trustees and staff of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun. The financial literacy material was presented by two representatives from Insight Investments Management: Mr. Reyhan Adi Nugraha, Retail Sales, Distribution, and Business Alliances Associate, and Mrs. Alifah Ghina Maharani, Deputy Head of Retail Sales.

The event commenced with a joint recitation of Surah Yasin by the PKK members, followed by a speech from Mr. Arif Roikhan. In his address, Mr. Arif expressed gratitude and appreciation to YIIM and INSIGHT representatives for their presence and the financial literacy training. He hoped the PKK members would grasp the material presented. “I extend my thanks to YIIM and INSIGHT for the opportunity to deliver financial literacy content at this routine meeting. I hope the PKK members pay close attention to the material, as it is crucial for effective and proper financial management.”

Following the opening speech, the presentation on financial literacy was delivered by Mr. Reyhan Adi Nugraha, titled “Financial Literacy Series: Social Impact Investing.” This presentation covered the importance of understanding and managing finances effectively, including skills for budgeting, long-term financial planning, and understanding various financial products. It also emphasized the risks of keeping money in cash, such as physical damage and inflation, and offered safer alternatives.

YIIM, as a non-profit organization, remains open to support and collaboration with any parties to expand the reach of its programs and to spread inspiration in its mission to build Indonesia.
