On Thursday 28th March 2024, the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) organized a social activity to share iftar packages, takjil and free haircut in the month of Ramadhan with the theme of Gempita Ramadhan for the residents of Pondok Pinang scavenger village who located at Gang Kenanga Kenanga Street, RT 01/RW 08, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta.

On this Ramadhan social activity we have distributed 100 packages of rice boxes for iftar, 100 packages of takjil, 100 glasses of palm sugar milk coffee from emphatee coffee and free haircut for 25 scavengers. This activity involved 2 YIIM-INSIGHT barbershop training alumni, namely Ageng Patmoko (training alumni in the year of 2018/Owner of Optima 73 Barbershop) and Anang Ardiansyah (training alumni in the year of 2023/Barbercut Barbershop Employee).

Furthermore Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management said:

“Hopefully this free iftar, takjil and haircut packages can provide some relief to the residents of the Pondok Pinang scavenger village. “This activity is a routine activity held during the month of Ramadan, hopefully this program will always bring blessings to those around us.”

Then, from representatives of the residents of the Pondok Pinang Gang Kenanga scavenger village, added:

“We would like to say our gratitude to YIIM and INSIGHT for the assistance with iftar and takjil packages as well as free haircut”

This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 concerning Preventing Hunger.

This Ramadhan social assistance program is the first part of a series of programs for the month of Ramadhan in the year of 2023 with the theme Gempita Ramadhan and has taken place in several locations in the provinces of DKI Jakarta, Depok City, Yogyakarta and Madura. Where various forms of activities have been carried out, including; sharing packages for iftar, takjil, compensation, basic necessities, worship equipment, free washing and AC service at mosques and orphanages, and free haircut.

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with various parties so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider inspiration thus we can spread help to develop Indonesia.
