On Thursday, 2nd November 2023 as a form of commitment to realizing social responsibility to the community, environment and stakeholders, the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Management Company (PT IIM) and Dana Pensiun Perkebunan ( DAPENBUN) organized the Inauguration of the Construction of Tunas Karya Kindergarten, located on Jl. Sukamulya, District.
Cugenang, Kab. Cianjur, West Java. The construction of this kindergarten is a form of IIM companies Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) and also collaborates with DAPENBUN and Nusantara Niaga Agro Company (PT NNA) for the community around Kebun Gedeh, Cianjur, due to the earthquake on 21th November 2022. Construction has begun to be implemented since June 2023.
This activity was attended byMr Dian Hadiana Arief as SEVP Asset Management Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Company, Mr Hudi Prihmono as DAPENBUN Operational Director, Mr Ki Agus Riki Ridwan Rahman as Main Director PT NNA, Mr Isnaeni as CSR Coordinator Insight Investments Management Company, Mr Imam Fadchurrodzi as YIIM Secretary, Mr. Mochamad Mulyadi as Manager Kebun Gedeh as well as Tunas Karya Kindergarten students and teachers.
The event was opened with dance performances from Tunas Karya Kindergarten students, followed by remarks from SEVP Asset Management PTPN VIII, Operational Director DAPENBUN, Main Director PT NNA, and Representatives from IIM Company and YIIM. In his speech, Mr. Hudi Prihmono as DAPENBUN Director of Operations conveyed, "We are grateful, after 4 months of the construction process, today we can all inaugurate the results of the construction of Tunas Karya Kindergarten.
Before the relocation and construction took place, the post-earthquake Tunas Karya Kindergarten building was severely damaged that it was not be able to use for the learning process.
After relocation and construction assistance carried out by YIIM, IIM Company, and DAPENBUN, 1 (one) new Kindergarten School building has been provided and PLN electricity has been installed, consisting of: 2 (two) Classrooms separated by wooden walls partition which if the partition is opened then the Classroom can function as a Hall, 1 (one) Teachers Room, 1 (one) Library Room, 1 (one) Kitchen Room, 2 (two) Bathrooms/Toilets.
This educational program is also in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 4 concerning on support for quality education, and Number 17 concerning on partnerships to achieve goals. It is hoped that with the official opening of the Tunas Karya Kindergarten building, can continue teaching and learning activities for students and kindergarten teachers with full safety, comfort and feasibility.
