The Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), through the Humanitarian and Religious Social Program supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT), provides humanitarian and religious social support. One of them is providing support for the renovation of facilities for houses of worship in the form of the Attarbiatul Islamiyah Garubuek Prayer Room or Musholla, Jorong Panyalai Nagari Cupak, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province.

This activity is one part of YIIM’s Humanitarian and Religious Social Program which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs Number 3 concerning ensuring a healthy life and improving the welfare of all people of all ages and Number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve the goals. This program is also a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Insight Investments Management to the community.

The Attarbiatul Islamiyah Garubuek Musholla is one of the many prayer rooms in Indonesia with a worrying condition, where the toilet facilities and prayer room ablutions are badly damaged and require repair. However, these improvements experienced obstacles due to limited costs. This condition can also endanger the safety of the congregation, and also from a health perspective. Assistance for the renovation of toilet facilities and prayer room ablutions is really needed by local residents who want to pray daily, especially before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

Renovation construction began on February 19th 2024 and was completed on March 11th 2024. Support provided for the renovation program activities was in the form of funding support in the amount of IDR 41,000,000 (Forty One Million Rupiah) to the management of the Attarbiatul Islamiyah Garubuek Musholla. The support provided for this program activity is used to purchase necessary materials and construction stages consisting of sand, stone, cement, ceramics, iron, lighting equipment, PVC pipes, faucets, coral.

The initial conditions before the renovation of the toilet facilities and prayer room ablutions were the condition of the wall paint which had faded, the floor had several damaged ceramics and lots of moss so the floor was very slippery for the congregation. After renovations, the walls of the prayer room ablutions have been tiled, the floors have been repaired and tiled, the toilet facilities have been repaired and are more suitable for use. Currently, as many as 350 heads of families can benefit from assistance with renovation activities provided by YIIM and Insight Investments Management.

Mrs. Ratnima Yulianti as representative of the Attarbiatul Islamiyah Garubuek Musholla management said, “Thank God for the renovation assistance provided by YIIM and Insight Investments Company, currently in the month of Ramadhan the ablution facilities and toilets can be used by the residents and the residents are very happy. I represent the residents of the Garubuek Attarbiatul Islamiyah Prayer Room to express my gratitude to YIIM and Insight Investments Company, I hope that this assistance will be a reward for goodness and continue to inspire goodness in the community.”
