On June 18th 2024, coinciding with the commemoration of Eid al-Adha 2024, the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) through the Social, Humanitarian and Religious Program supported by Insight Investments Management Company (Insight Investments). YIIM and Insight Investments donated sacrificial animal of one cow worth IDR 21,000,000 (twenty one million rupiah) with the assistance of the implementing partner, the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS).

This program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Insight Investments to the community. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 1 on ending poverty in all its forms everywhere, Number 2 on Preventing hunger and SDGs Number 17 partnerships to achieve goals.

YIIM in cooperation with Insight Investments share benefits for underprivileged, orphans and other vulnerable groups in need, especially in the 3T (remote, frontier and outermost) areas and support the government’s plan in the zero stunting program 2024. Provision of sacrificial animal donation for residents in Layuh Village, Batu Benawa District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, North Kalimantan. Achievement of activities where the beneficiaries’ protein, nutrition and other needs are met.

BAZNAS RI, in a written statement, said that sacrifice is a social worship that has an economic dimension and aims to fulfill the nutrition of the mustahik/beneficiaries. Sacrifice is not only a form of personal worship that is recommended for Muslims, but also a contribution to community empowerment, especially small farmers. BAZNAS Donation Sacrifice also aims to increase meat consumption for mustahik so that it can help fulfill nutrition, especially animal protein.

In the year of 2024, BAZNAS will re-implement the Sacrifice Program with the theme “BAZNAS Blessing Sacrifice”. This is the umpteenth time that BAZNAS has been trusted by the community and muzaki, especially institutions/agencies/companies/corporations to collaborate again in implementing the Sacrifice program. BAZNAS once again invites people to synergize and collaborate in carrying out Sacrifice, as well as distributing infak funds and corporate CSR funds through the 2024 BAZNAS Blessing Sacrifice Program.

This program is a manifestation of the spirit of Insight Investments, namely transforming investment for good social impact and the spirit of YIIM, namely spreading inspiration to mobilize positive energy for the development of a better Indonesia.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various circles, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open to all forms of cooperation from all circles so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
