The Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), through the Humanitarian and Religious Social Program supported by Insight Investments Management Company (PT Insight Investments), plays an active role in providing humanitarian and religious social support. One of them is providing clean water through the construction of drilled wells at the Riyadhul Huffadz Islamic Boarding School, Sopa Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The students and local residents are having difficulty obtain clean water for their daily needs due to dry water sources because this area was lack of clean water during the dry season.

The process of procuring a drilled well for clean water began on March 5th 2024 and was completed on March 20th 2024. YIIM and Insight Investments Management Company have provided support in the form of constructing a drilled well at the Zaid bin Tsabit Islamic Boarding School. The drilled well has a depth of 40 meters and a tower with a clean water capacity of 5000 liters. Maintenance of drilled wells, whether machines or electricity supplies, will be the responsibility of the Islamic Boarding School administrators.

Previously, during the dry season teachers and students had difficulty obtain clean water. After the assistance of the beneficiaries to get clean water available during the dry season and on a daily basis, water needs can be met for the students and residents around the Islamic boarding school, health and welfare.

This program supports one of the government’s three priority programs, namely superior Human Resources (HR), where access to clean water and adequate sanitation are key factors determining the quality of a person’s health. This program is also in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs no. 3 concerning health, namely ensuring healthy living and improving health/well-being at all ages and SDGs no. 6 ensuring the availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation for all and SDGs no. 17 concerning partnerships to achieve goals.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various circles, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and open to all forms of cooperation, support and donations from all groups so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
